Information for Parents and Children

Thank you for choosing this valuable and enjoyable course for your loved child! We would like to encourage you reading the following information before your child starts with the course:  

 

  • Parents are fully responsible for the supervision over their children during the meditation- the yoga dance- and breathing-sessions. 

  • If your child has any medical or physical issues please consult with your paediatrician before starting the course. 

  • This course is only effective and designed for one family household. Please don’t give the course materials for free to others, who haven’t purchased the course.

  • All practices of the meditation-, all physical movement- and breathing-sessions offered in these courses are at the parents own risk alone.

I. Meditation Part of this course includes:

  • five meditation sessions, which described the basic and simple functions of the immune system in a storytelling style;

  • combined with calming background music and;

  • each session lasted for five minutes. 

 

Titles of the meditation sessions:

  • First meditation: Your new friends, the white blood cells 

  • Second meditation: Your immune system spots a harmful germ

  • Third meditation: the help of the giant cells

  • Fourth meditation: How the giant cells and the superhero cells help each other

  • Fifth meditation: Taking care of my body

 

 Important information for parents before starting the meditation sessions 

  • Talk to your child in advance that meditation helps their body and mind to calm and relax. 

  • Your child can wear comfortable clothes that allows them to feel no pressure on their chest and belly.

  • Choose a time when the child is naturally beginning to wind down, such as bedtime or nap time, these are times when children are often more open to relaxation and meditation practices.

  •  It is important that your child is not disturbed throughout the meditation. 

  • Allow the meditation to fully finish before turning it off.

  • It is important to allow your child to have their personal experience, once the meditation is completed please allow your child to have some time to digest the information about their immune system in the meditation unless your child interacts with you.

  • If your child falls asleep whilst listening to the meditation allow the meditation to move through to completion and let them peacefully sleep. They are subconsciously learning and it is more profound than conscious learning. Silence is important for your child during the meditation and afterwards (if your child needs it) to process and perceive information.


 

II. Yoga dance part 

  • The second part of this course includes five yoga dance sessions for 8-9 minutes each, which are corresponding to the five meditation sessions; 

  • these sessions are designed with lots of thoughts and care. The most posters and movements in the sessions are chosen to help strengthen the immune system according to the traditional yoga science;  

  • pdf- file to help your child remember the most important key terms and postures of the immune system course;

  • through the body movements in the yoga dance sessions, which are corresponded to every mediation, your child will deepen their understanding of the function of the immune system. Therefore, it is recommended to do the yoga dance session a day or two days after its corresponding meditation session.

Important information for parents before starting the yoga dance sessions 

  • Choose a time when your child is not too tired to practice yoga dance sessions.

  • Do not force your children to do all positions and yoga posters. Children must listen to their body and do not do any position that causes them any kind of pain.

  • If your child has any medical or physical issues please consult with your paediatrician before registering for the course.

  • The practicing of all physical movement exercises of yoga dance sessions is within the parents own risk. 

  • Your child can wear any sports clothes that are also flexible and comfortable. 

  • Please take extra care of the place safety and make sure that the area is free of any sharp or quaky items around, that might hurt your child if they move or dance around.

 

III. Breathing part 

  • The third part of this course includes 4-5-minute breathing session with three different breathing exercises;

  • these can be practiced at any time whenever your child needs it;

  • comfortable clothes are highly recommended during this session.
